Parking

This is got to be one of the biggest problems that USM has. Just about all the parking on campus is reserved for faculty and staff. It is very much an inconvience to all the students especially on those rainy days when you have to walk a mile to your class, and by time you get to class you are soaking wet and dont even want to go to class. If you park somewhere close be aware that you a most likely in a faculty spot and be ready to get the ticket out from under your winsheild when you arrive back to your vehicle. Something has to be done soon to fix this problem.

Stadium Construction

One thing that everyone at USM has been waiting on is the addition to the football stadium. This addition is something that was needed, most every university has seating in the endzone. Most students are hoping it will be the new student section, that is where most universities place the student section. Another thing is students will be happy when its all done because of all inconviences we have to go through to go around all the construction and plus it looks like shit rite now.

Jeff Bower

The news is now out as of now USM head coach Jeff Bower will not be joining us next year for another year of exciting golden eagle football, noone is really sure what the reason is behind this but im sure we will eventually find out. Its going to be kinda weird not having coach bower on the sidelines, seeing another coach in his place is probably going to take some getting used to, but hopefully this move will be beneficial to the golden eagles and hopefully the new coach will bring the team, students and the school a winning season that we have been looking for, it would make the student section a little more rowdy on the game days.

Christmas

The most anticipated holiday Christmas. A time of giving, for college students its a giving of a long needed break from school and the receiving of gifts that people have wanted all year. For me i receive many good things during this time of year like perfect weather and the oppurtunity to go to the woods in search for another trophy deer, receive the gifts that have been on my list for a while and the chance to spend alot of time with my family thats the main thing.

Thanksgiving

one of the holidays everyone looks foward too, especially students at usm not only for the food but the nice little break we receive to get away from school work and just relax and enjoy the blessing of wonderful food and spending time with your family. Me personally i enjoyed it a little too much by eating to much and not wanting to come back to school at the end, but thankfully we students have the christmas break to look foward too

exams

As the semester winds down its now time that everyone dreads finals. I have always hated times of finals since middle school, its always known as crunch time and as usual it comes up on you so fast. Now its time to put most things aside and began to study for the dreaded finals. The only good thing about finals is the fact that we get out of school for a very much needed break after.Once completed the weight is off your back for a little while until its time to receive the news of your final grades.

deer season

The day has finally come for me the opening day of deer season. The weather is perfect on opening morning, freezing cold perfect for getting the deer to move around. they havent been shot at since last year so they are not skiddish. I get to my stand anxious to see that whitetail of that deer i have been thinking about all year. Once the sun began to come up, there in the clear stood two deer. exited and pumped i pulled my gun up and put the deer in my scope, then the click of the safety sounds and the deer raises its head from eating for its last time. once the smoke cleared there lay the deer i anticipated.

Parking Ticket lady

I am really getting tired of the woman that sits on her ass all day on that gas powered toy she has and writes tickets all day. I have already gotten two tickets, as a matter of fact i got one today for expired meter, when it had only expired for two minutes. I wish she would just relax with writing all those tickets she is wasting entirely too muh damn paper

food at school

The food at school is pissing me off, they never really have anything good, it would be nice to have good food to along with the convience of just swiping your student id. They cook stuff that can eaisly be made at home and would possibly be cheaper and less hassle than waiting in line waiting for food that isnt really even any good. Hopefully they will realize it and improve the food quality.

Auburn Football

Being an Auburn fan i was pretty pissed about the turnout of the game on saturday. Although i was pretty pleased with the way they played compared to the few first games do i cant complain about that. LSU is a good football team and i think Auburn held in there pretty well until the last few seconds of the the game when Les Miles called a gutsty pass into the endzone where he was successful and ended up winning the game with two seconds on the clock, but its just a game so i cant wait to the iron bowl.

sigma chi

I recently signed a bid with sigma chi i am very excited to be part of waht i think is a wonderful way to get involved and meet new people im kinda nervous about what i have to look foward to but at the same time excited about it

rush

Rush week started monday and its been pretty cool besides shaking enough hands for the whole year i have already made my decision on which one i am going to rush. i am pretty pumped for saturday which is bid day its going to awesome

football game

Im pumped im leaving tommorrow to head up to the tennesse game, im hoping we can pull an upset but it will be tough, since it is at tennesee and the eagles want have all the fans behind them cheering them on but i think they will do ok. the road trip will be pretty crazy

Vick

In my opinion i dont think vick should get the punishment that he is getting. There are several stars that are getting away with with basically murder such as Kobe Bryant getting away with raping a woman or OJ getting away with the murder of his wife. In the situation with vick he is getting jail time and suspended from the NFL, destroying his whole life and career over killing a bunch of damn dogs that are capable of killing humans and do so, those dogs are bred to fight until death. There are so many people that breed these dogs to fight and if they preform well they are killed, it just so happens that vick got caught and of course the officials are blowing it out of proportion because he is a sucessful star. This is no reason to take one of the best quarterbacks in the game of football out of the game. I just think it is redicilous what they are doing to him, i think at the most he should just get a fine or something like that. People need to realize the danger that these dogs can bring, and the danger that vick doesnt bring, that breed of dog needs to killed anyway.
